Edmund Tong, Co-founder & Chairman

Edmund Tong, Graduated from University of Hong Kong, has successfully established a unique career in the construction and timber industry. Since 1984 to now, Edmund has operated ET Engineering Limited specialized in high quality interior fitting out projects throughout Hong Kong and China, particularly for innovative designs tailored for property developers that integrate multimedia elements. In 2005, he also joined SCA Wood Hong Kong Limited (a subsidiary of the publicly listed company SCA in Sweden) as a Director of Business Development where he has been pivotal in expanding the company’s reach in Greater China. His expertise encompasses the complete Nordic timber supply chain, from seedlings to forest, through sawmill in Sweden and production of wooden products in China, leveraging advanced technology and modern machinery. Edmund is also a committee member of the Hong Kong & Kowloon Timber Merchant Association (HKTMA), establishment in 1931.

Maurice Wong, retired, has a diverse career spanning over thirty years, during which he has held roles in public administration, financial services, manufacturing, marketing, and sustainability initiatives. Currently after retirement, he actively participates in the development of Innovative Wood Recycle Association Limited where he passionately advocates for eco-friendly practices and recycling efforts. With decades of experience, Maurice embodies a commitment to professional excellence and environmental stewardship.

Wilson Lee, Director

Wilson Lee earned his architecture degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 1998 and has over 26 years of experience in the construction industry across Australia, New Zealand, China, and Hong Kong. His expertise encompasses master planning, architectural and interior design, branding, and licensing consultancy, with a focus on the hotel, food & beverage and education sectors. He has showcased his consultancy and design services at the Learning & Teaching Expo in 2015, 2016 and 2021. Drawing on his extensive background in commercial projects, Wilson has established a systematic project management approach to ensure projects meet client briefs in terms of cost, quality and time. He is keenly interested in leveraging Building Integrated Modeling (BlM) and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) technologies for an integrated design approach, from initial concepts to execution, with special attention to post-occupancy experience through data analysis. Recently, Wilson has been involved in mentorship programs, community service, and teaching at HKU Space, sharing his knowledge with emerging designers and architects.

Angus Lee, Director

Angus Lee, retired, is a seasoned professional with over 37 years of experience in the air cargo industry. Throughout his career, he has optimized cargo operations, enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction across several leading airlines. His professional experience includes eight years at Korean Airline Cargo, seventeen years at All Nippon Airways Cargo and twelve years at Nippon Cargo Airlines. Angus holds a degree in Physical Distribution & Transport Management. His extensive background reflects a deep understanding of the intricacies of air cargo management.

Yip Chun Sum, Director

Yip Chun Sum is the founder of Beautyfloor Engineering Limited and has been engaged in the building materials industry for over 20 years. He has served as a director of the Hong Kong Toy Manufacturers’ Association, a director of the Hong Kong Auto Parts Association, the vice president of the Guangdong Glass Industry Association, and the vice president of the Guizhou Architectural Doors, Windows, and Curtain Wall Industry Association.
